ST. PAUL’S CATHEDRAL
A wide range of work has been implemented at the Cathedral over a ten year period, including: major external stonework repair and cleaning; development in the Crypt to provide facilities for visitors, including shop, café, restaurant and WCs, together with conference facilities; new choir practice facilities; a new conservation and archive department; accessibility measures for the disabled; a comprehensive fire detection and alarm installation; major liturgical reordering of the dome area; comprehensive alterations and improvements to the OBE Chapel; a major internal cleaning and refurbishment programme; and major relighting of the Cathedral.
WELLS CATHEDRAL, SOMERSET
A significant project on the sensitive west and south sides of the cathedral has recently received planning permission. Visitor, staff and choir school facilities will be provided on this extremely archaeologically sensitive and historically important site.
LICHFIELD CATHEDRAL
Recent works include stone repairs to the North Transept, relighting of the Quire and the formation of a new St Stephen’s Chapel. A major liturgical reordering of the nave is in progress, together with a conservation programme on the important late mediaeval glazing in the Lady Chapel.
CUSWORTH HAll, DONCASTER
A programme of repairs and enhancements to 18th Century country house to the north of Doncaster will soon be underway now that the Stage II HLF grant has been obtained. We are also acting as historic building adviser to the council.

WORDSWORTH HOUSE, COCKERMOUTH, CUMBRIA
This fine 18th Century building owned by the National Trust was home to William Wordsworth and his family in his early years, and is undergoing re-interpretation of the interior as well as refurbishment and improvements to visitor facilities including disabled persons access and limited enterprise provision.
RAVENSWORTH CASTLE, GATESHEAD
An initial scheme to explore the repair and adaptation of this ruined Nash Stableblock as a countryside base and headquarters for the Great North Forest. Scheme proposals financed by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
RYEDALE FOLK MUSEUM
A new high security contemporary gallery for important objects and exhibits within the existing Entrance Buildings.
ST GEORGE’S CHURCH, DONCASTER
One of Scott’s finest churches, St George’s will soon be the subject of a large scale repair programme following grant funding support from English Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
TEMPLE NEWSAM HOUSE, LEEDS
Repair of the roof and external fabric together with the restoration of the original east drive and courtyard levels is running alongside discrete internal alterations to provide lift access and toilets to one of Leeds City Council’s premier museums.
